Bandai Star Destroyer 1/5000

This is Bandai's 1/5000 Star Destroyer Limited Edition with Lighting Kit

The pictures are a little blurier because I had to drop the lighting level to make the LEDs visible (and I chose to just increase the shutter speed instead of touching the f stop of iso). The long side profile also has the stands being a little weird because of the way photoshop decided to stitch the photos together.

I've had this built for two years already and finally decided to try to take some nice pictures. The removable tower part doesn't have the best fit for me (and you can see it as well), probably because of the extra lighting kit stuck inside. Same thing with the engines on the back, but that is a little harder to spot. The kit itself though is amazing. Other than the tower the fit is amazing, the holes for the lighting are great, and the details are fantastic. Bandai's own lighting kit is LEDs only (so no fiber optics sadly), and because of that it looks a lot better in person than on camera.
